Any easy simple way in seam to populate dropdown list from file

Hi,

Is there any easy simple way in seam to populate dropdown list from property/xml file,  instead of using Buffer reader/ tokenzizer.. etc..

I need to populate values in a dropdown it can be from properties or xml file.
example: List A dropdown should display John, Mike, Sam..
List A = John, Mike, Sam...

Please suggest

I did it using JSF itself simply using managed-property, unfortunately I couldn't found anything in seam ...
