2. Re: EL in excelExporter.export()
michaeltr Nov 13, 2008 8:23 PM (in response to michaeltr)I want to use the excelExporter-action in a facelets template. For that I want to pass the parameter (formId:tableId) as a template parameter but I did't get this to work.
BTW I tried to do the export with a s:link tag but it only works with h:commandLink. With s:link the excelExporter.select() finds no component.
(Did it with Seam 2.1SP1 and Richfaces 3.2.2 rich:extendedDataTable) -
3. Re: EL in excelExporter.export()
nickarls Nov 13, 2008 8:32 PM (in response to michaeltr)Currently I just read the value but I don't see why it couldn't be passed through EL first...
Hmm, if you view the html souce, can you see the table at the time you press the s:link? -
4. Re: EL in excelExporter.export()
michaeltr Nov 13, 2008 8:51 PM (in response to michaeltr)For a test I placed a s:link just beneath the h:commandLink - the h:commandLink works the s:link throws th followin exception:
Exception during request processing:
Caused by javax.el.ELException with message: "org.jboss.seam.excel.ExcelWorkbookException: Could not find data table with id theFormId:theTableId"
How can I pass the EL expression parameter? Something like
action="#{excelExporter.export( #{formIdParam}:#{tableIdParam} )}"
does not work -
5. Re: EL in excelExporter.export()
danielc.roth Nov 13, 2008 9:01 PM (in response to michaeltr)I think you need to file a bug on Jboss EL on that. I don't think nestling #{} is possible.
