Is it possible to put Wicket and Faces driven wars under the same EAR ?

Not yet; see JBSEAM-3645 and its related issues. You can build with that patch applied to the svn trunk, or wait for the next release (hopefully.)

It's bad news.

I'm done with investigations of JSF + Facelets problems and considered Wicket as a good replacement for JSF (even forthcoming 2.0)

I voted for the issues. Looking forward for them committed to the trunk.
