luke.poldo.mailinator.com Apr 6, 2009 4:21 PM (in response to balazska)You can run a selenium test?? How? Richfaces changes my elements ids, like datatable rows and so on...
Every test...fail, I ask here months ago why richfaces creates and changes randomly the id but as always anyone reply to it :-) -

balazska Apr 7, 2009 12:42 AM (in response to balazska)yes, I added specified values to ids in <h:input> and <h:form> tags, but datatables has not worked correctly yet.
I think the richfaces stab will repair the errors in the future. -

marcioendo.marcioendo.gmail.com Apr 7, 2009 2:02 AM (in response to balazska)I am using HtmlUnit after not being able to properly setup Selenium.
Actually I only tried Selenium because HtmlUnit was not very friendly with the YUI Javascript framework.
Anyways, I switched back to HtmlUnit and I am replacing YUI with jQuery.
I am still having a few issues Ajax-related (don't know how to follow a Ajax HTTP redirect), but overall I am quite happy. Specially because it is all Java.

balazska Apr 7, 2009 2:10 AM (in response to balazska)The selenium setup is good for me, but I have problems with ids too.
The http://webtest.canoo.com/ fwk is similar to selenium, but it works only xmls.
