atBegin work only if conversation propagetion=none or end

The @Begin work only, if the conversation propagetion setting to none or end
otherwise, I get an exception to set @Begin(join=true)

Why?

And I use this within a JBPM business process with seam.

The  annotated method of @Begin  is a human task begin method.
