1. Re: Exception towards javax.faces.validator.Validator!
clerum Jun 15, 2009 5:32 PM (in response to allforjava.allforjava.aol.in)Since your validator has @BypassInterceptors all your injections are going to come up null.
The solution is go get them like so
IssuesList issuesList = (IssuesList) Component.getInstance("issuesList ");

allforjava.allforjava.aol.in Jun 16, 2009 8:05 AM (in response to allforjava.allforjava.aol.in)Thank you Cody, you made my day!
However, why and how is that these instance are injected?
@In Identity identity;
@Logger private Log log;
@In FacesMessages facesMessages;Regards,

swd847 Jun 16, 2009 8:19 AM (in response to allforjava.allforjava.aol.in)What makes you think they are injected? They should be null as well. As far as I can see you don't even use them in your code, so the fact that they are null will not cause any problems.

clerum Jun 16, 2009 3:45 PM (in response to allforjava.allforjava.aol.in)Try doing a check on those variables. They should be null.
Your other injected variables
identity
,log
andfacesMessages
are never called and could be removed from your code.
