1. Re: Seam 2.1.2 does not work with Wicket 1.4
vladimir.kovalyuk Jun 24, 2009 11:51 AM (in response to vladimir.kovalyuk)I don't see work around, too many couplings with SeamWebApplication. I have to roll back to Seam 2.1.1
With Seam 2.1.1 I don't have to extend my application class from SeamWebApplication. That was the real seamless integration. With Seam 2.1.2 you have justified its predestination :)
With wicket you're able to use initializer in wicket.properties files inside a jar. That is a good place to initialize Seam from wicket-seam.jar

You've filed a jira issue, and I'll look at it. It's just that wicket/seam and wicket/webbeans isn't my full time job, and right now that job is taking up a lot of time. If you post a patch to fix an issue, it will get fixed faster than one without, but in any case, I will look ati t.

Initializing seam-wicket.jar from wicket.properties does not seem to be a bad idea. But nobody shared his/her opinion on this matter including you.
