Access outcom in view

is it possible to access the outcome from an action in my view?

Hi,

It is not possible in a standard way, as far as I know, but it is easy to implement. E.g.:

@Out(required=false) String actionResult;

public String actionMethod() {
  ...
  actionResult = "XXX";
  return actionResult;
}

Then the result would be accessible as #{actionResult}.

What do you want do to with the outcome of the method? You can obviously use it in pages.xml for rule if outcome="success" then do this. That is normally what you do for outcome in a method.
