Which is best architecture for medium application?

Hi, I need to develop an medium application and I need to know what would be the best layer design and best practices in Seam (for example: Must I use extended persistence object? Must I  use outjections, Must I use Entities Beans as Backings Beans? Must I avoid biyection?

Read SiA book, JPA/Hibernate book (the last chapter on Seam is very good intro) and Seam ref doc, then start asking more specific questions.

As far as Seam is concerned, focus on bijection and conversation context first.  Those are the two biggest concepts/features in addition to SMPC and transactions/persistence.

Read about JSF and EJB3 prior to getting too deep into Seam, or you'll be confused/frustrated quickly.
