rich:tabPanel kills conversation??!

Hello!

When I put my code into a rich:tabPanel, I always get this warning:

WARN  [Component] Cannot create Seam component, scope is not active: myComponent(CONVERSATION)

This does NOT happen when the markup-code is not within a tabPanel. Can someone explain how this works?

how do you start the conversation?

I'm using lots of rich:tabPanel - and everything fine. I'm starting a conversation in the page.xml with <begin-conversation join="true"/> and tabPanel has ajax switchType. Everything works.

probably if we look at your code we can find the error.
