    Building Seam3 failed

I want to try Seam3, JSF2, JPA2 Stack. I followed the instructions to build Webbeans first, then Seam 3 but the Maven build failed with complaining about a missing org.jboss.webbeans.CurrentManager.
      Any suggestions?

I believe development on Seam 3 is at a stop right now. The devs are working on getting CDI  JSR-299) finalized. From what I have heard the current plan is pickup Seam full time in November or so integrating the complete CDI as the core.

I think there have been a lot of changes to CDI since they first started Seam 3 due to merging JSR-330, so it wouldn't surprise me if the build is broken. Furthermore I doubt they have taken the time to fix the seam 3 build since it will probably be broken again before CDI is finalized. Much harder to hit a moving target.

I think this explains the current build situation. So it makes no sense to invest in the Seam3 evaluation currently. Thanks for clarifying the situation.
