Try downloading Seam 2.2.0.GA
Sample is in directory : /examples/spring.
Also look at seam documentation here.
Personnally, I never make a Spring bean into a Seam component.
I just create my Spring's Services and Dao and inject them into a Seam Component, just like that (using an EL in the In annotation) :
@Name("myAction") public class MyAction { @In("#{myService}") public MyService myService }
If you're using Spring transaction, you can configure Seam to use Spring transactionManager.
If you're using Jpa or Hibernate, you can configure Spring to use Seam Managed Persistence Context and avoid any LIEs.
