I have no class annotated with @Name(skinEditor
).
I thought it was sufficient declare the component in components.xml and then get a reference to it in my code throwa seam function.
Probably i'm wrong: i'm sorry if my question is stupid, but it is the first time for me with seam.

You can do this if you add a claas description to component.xml. Meaning you must make a class with a Map property availableSkins. Although I never tried it (because I don't like mixing declarative bean creation with normal Seam components) I think you can use as a class a Hashmap and Seam will create it for you.
