Browser Back Button

I want to achieve the following thru Seam, please advise.

1. Page1 : Click Search button -- Search Result ( list of links displayed on same page)
2. Page1 : Clicking on any link opens a pops up modal with buttons
3. Page1 : Click a button takes us to Page2
4. Page2 : Now if I click browser back button, I am expecting to see Page1 without the modal but with the search results.

I could not edit/ format the previous post..so replying to format.

4. Page2 : Now if I click browser back button, I am expecting to see Page1 without the modal but with the search results.
