Released Seam 2.2.1.Final!

Seam 2.2.1.Final is available!!

We have finished a long journey for 2.2.1, the version was about bug fixing and deployment issues on JBoss AS 6.

I have to thanks to all bug reporters and our developers who participated in 2.2.1 version, our QE team (Ondřej Skutka, Martin Genčúr and Jozef Hartinger) for all 3 candidate releases and this final quality assurance that 2.2.1 is ready to go.

Also I thank to Sanne Grinovero, who enhanced Seam examples (Blog, DvdStore) which now uses latest Hibernate Search features.

Seam downloads are available at sourceforge.net - here.

Documentation for 2.2.1.Final is available at standard Documentation place at seamframework.org (e.g html or PDF).

If you have issues with your current application in migration to JBoss AS 6, look at Seam examples for inspirations.

Note that full JSF2 support is still problem, but we will solve this incompatibilities in future release of Seam - 2.3.0.

Unfortunately I can see that problems with downloading from sourceforge.net today and the reason is Sourceforge.net service. They were hacked and due some reason from the attack recovering, all new uploads on Thursday/Friday/weekend have these issues as far as I know :-(.

Look at http://sourceforge.net/blog/sourceforge-attack-full-report/. They don't have any exact ETA for fixing the issue - they said to me that sometime this week.

Try to download Seam with wget or any other download manager, which can resuming download.
