Using JSFUnit to test JSF Page on portlet environment

Hi,
I am new to JSFUnit and I am trying to figure out if there is a way to test JSF pages that are written for a portlet environment. So far I have not seen anything on the documentation regarding this topic. Is there documentation on how to do this?

Right now, JSFUnit can not be used in a portlet environment.

Portlet support could be added and I've talked to some folks interested in fixing the problem but nobody has actually stepped forward to do the work.
