3. Re: jQuery doesn't work with rich:editor
vi_mahe_ka1 Feb 13, 2012 9:51 AM (in response to strannik)i used following script to read editor content and do some opertaions on it.
xhtml code:
<rich:editor onsetup="setup(this);" />
js code:
function setup(ed){
ed.onKeyUp.add(
function (ed, evt) {
document.getElementById('deslen').value = tinyMCE.activeEditor.getContent().length;
if(tinyMCE.activeEditor.getContent().length > 4000){
tinyMCE.activeEditor.setContent(tinyMCE.activeEditor.getContent().substring(0,4000));
}
}
);
};

4. Re: jQuery doesn't work with rich:editor
strannik Feb 13, 2012 3:31 PM (in response to vi_mahe_ka1)Hi, Mahesh
Thank you for the answer, but I don't have issues with rich:editor.
My issue relates to the jQuery functionality. If rich:editor resides above the jQuery statements then jQuery doesn't work.
