How to connect to a remote EJB which is secured on AS 7.1

How to connect to a JBoss AS 7.1 instance that is secured. Which is the default configuration on that version.

AS 7.1.0.Final has been secured by default for all remote communication. That documentation was written prior to that. I'll be reviewing some of these documents this week to make sure they work for the default secured case.
