Security access to MBean Server?

Can I configure JBoss to have a specific user and password that have access to one MBean server that I have created? Or the access is for all MBean Servers?

In what way are the clients obtaining a connection to the MBeanServers?

Hi

I'm using JMXConnector. By default it seems that I can connect to JBoss using port 1090 without using any credentials. I would like to know if I can configure credentials to connect to a specific MBeanServer.

Which AS version are you using? We now support access using JBoss Remoting which for standalone defaults to over port 9999 using the same authentication as is used for management operations.

JBoss 6.1.0 using the following URL "service:jmx:rmi:///jndi/rmi://localhost:1090/jmxrmi".

My apologies,

I was a little confused because everytime I clicked JBoss App Server it took me to this forum, but I couldn't find one that said JBoss 6.
