rhusar Feb 18, 2012 7:44 PM (in response to pradeepn)Just use mod_jk in Apache HTTPd: http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/
To configure JBoss AS apply instructions http://docs.jboss.org/jbossclustering/cluster_guide/5.1/html-single/index.html#clustering-http-modjk accordingly.

pradeepn Feb 20, 2012 4:23 AM (in response to rhusar)tnx Radoslav Husar for ur quick reply, but my problem is bit different here.
I've already created two nodes (node1 n node2) in Jboss ,i've to set the limit of request's in node1( say 5 requests), when node1 gets more than 5 request, that request has to be transfered to node2.. how do i do that.
Thank you

whizkid.samrat Mar 8, 2012 1:40 AM (in response to pradeepn)If i understand correctly , you are looking for weighted load balencing .. say 5:1 ratio. That is actually very easy to do.
in your workers.properties use
worker.worker1.lbfactor=5
worker.worker2.lbfactor=1
that will split the load 5:1

4. Re: Clustering in JBOSS 4.2.3 GA
rhusar Mar 8, 2012 3:39 AM (in response to whizkid.samrat)Yes, the lbfactor is used when new sessions are created.
when node1 gets more than 5 request, that request has to be transfered to node2
But if you are asking about already existing session the LB is not going to do that, because it would be risking losing session because of trigerring failover.
