why java.util.Map doesn't work on RHS update

my rule just like this:

valueMap.put("year", "2012");

statefulKSession.insert(valueMap);

statefulKSession.fireAllRules();

......

          lock-on-active true

          salience 100

    then

          System.out.println(drools.getRule().getName());

     when

            $map : Map(this["state"] == "2")

    then

          System.out.println(drools.getRule().getName());

i insert a HashMap as a fact to the working memory

my first rule(rule1) just get "state" from service ,then put into the map then update ,and in the next rule(rule2) judge "state" ,but it never goes into rule2's RHS,why?

any guys can help me? tks

Since you are using lock-on-active you are explicitly saying that.

Of course, if you remove lock-on-active you will end up with an infinite activation/firing loop

You will need to refactor your rules a little bit in order to avoid this.

yes, it works,when i replace "lock-on-active true" with "no-loop true" ,the rule runs
