2. Re: Asynchronous SOAP Webservice with callback
muralidharan.sa Mar 16, 2012 7:57 AM (in response to tcunning)Hi Tom,
Thanks for your reply.
My requirement is I will send a message to a webservice. The webservice will take a long time process. But we dont need to wait for the response from the same thread.
The response will get polling sttategy. How can I implement this process in our jbossesb.
Thanks in advance.

tcunning Mar 16, 2012 8:26 AM (in response to muralidharan.sa)I'm confused a little by your reply - are you trying to send a message from the ESB action chain to a webservice asynchronously? Or are you invoking a webservice that is fronting an ESB service, and want that call to be asynchronous?

I am new to JBOSS ESB but have some experience in webservice.I want to expose a service in ESB as asynchronous.(What i mean here is when the client sends a request it will recieve a co-relation id for the request.and then the client has to poll (at the replyTo address provided in the original request) with the corelation id to get a response to the service ).Basically i am looking for an asynchronous service exposed by a SOA platform to be consumed by other application. Is there any samples/examples available for this.
Regards
