strict message ordering

never used HornetQ but excited about this as afast/stable messaging server

1) How can I ensure strict messaging order for a given topic ? If I enable this, then can I run multiple instances of this server ?

2) when is it available for GA ? Any tentative timeline ?

1) Take a look at messaging ordering on the user's manual.

You could also disable buffering at the client side by setting windowSize to 0, look at no-consumer-buffering example for that.

2) All I can say now is we are trying to put it out very soon. You could follow the roadmap on JIRA.
