    "Newbie Question" - Managed Connections

    n2jaz Newbie

      For the most part 99% of the time the application runs fine. I sometimes get managed connections errors. I've updated my ds.xml file with the following (testing purposes)

      <min-pool-size>20</min-pool-size>
      <max-pool-size>50</max-pool-size>

      But when I look at the Administration Console or JMX Console it still shows min 0 & max 10. (yes I restarted the JBoss process)

      What am I missing?

          My guess is that you are not looking at the right place in the jmx console.

          Which file did you make these changes in?

          Which mbean are you looking at in the jmx console (full mbean name, please).

          Finally, what version of JBoss AS.

            Thanks for your response!

            File (Sabrix Tax Application): sabrix-oracle-ds.xml

            JMX-CONSOLE: jboss.jca --> name=jdbc/TaxDataSource,service=ManagedConnectionPool (MinSize=0 MaxSize=10)

            Version: 5.1

              I should have also asked for the *-ds.xml file contents...

                  I deployed your *-ds.xml file and saw the expected min and max values. See attached screen shot. So I'm not sure why you are not seeing the same thing.
