How can I indicate JNDI server IP in JBoss server configurat

Hi all,

When I run standalone version of HornetQ, I could indicate the JNDI server IP in hornetq-beans.xml; But I couldn't find out where/how to do the same thing when I want to try HornetQ with JBoss 5.0.1GA .

Any ideas are appreciated.

When you run in AS, the app server already has it's own JNDI server, so HornetQ doesn't start it's own one like it does in the standalone config.

If you want to know how to configure the JBoss AS JNDI server, it should be covered in the JBoss AS documentation.

Yes, My question is which JBoss config file I should change to indicate JNDI host address.

JBoss configuration is complicated and I am still reading those documents.

You're asking in the wrong forum about JBoss AS config, I know about as much as you here.

If someone feel interest about this question, here is how I did:
run jboss like this :
./run.sh -b [IP] -c [example configuration name]

In this way, I could connect to JNDI service and get naming tree through HermesJMS running on WinXP.
