DeltaSpike providing Seam Faces functionality

Is there a coarse estimation when DeltaSpike will provide let's say 60 % of Seam Faces' functionality? E.g. in Q3 2012 or Q4 2012 or Q1 2013.

I certainly expect it to be this year. Possibly v0.4 we'll be doing JSF related work. v0.3 is working on transactional and JPA. For what you're talking about Juergen I think v0.5 would have everything you're looking for, possibly v0.4.

Hope DeltaSpike will merge the effort of MyFaces CODI JSF parts also, it deeply integrate JSF with CDI, which will make JSF development become more easy in JEE6.

What's status and goal of DeltaSpike? From what I remember it's trying to deliver missing Seam 2 features from Seam 3, will it replace Seam 3 completely or just use it? I see no progress in Seam 3 lately, I see Seam 2 got JSF 2 beta version, and I see DeltaSpike is in heavy development. There were hot disscussion about Seam future, Seam.next etc but still we have no information what's going on. Will there be Seam 4? Is DeltaSpike replacing Seam?
