JDBC and jboss 3.0 (rabbithole) - what is rabbithole

Hi everybody,

From the download page of jBoss I can see that the newest version is 2.4.1a. But in the 3rd chapter about how to use databases and resource managers there is stated in the beginning that this chapter was written for jBoss 3.0 (rabbithole). What version is that? Is it stable or a beta?

Is there any link to a docu page which describes how to configure JDBC and resource managers for v2.4.1a ???

Rabbit Hole is the 3.0 development version of JBoss. As a work in progress, code is changing fast.

There are no binaries. You have to download the code and build it. The docs that you are asking are being elaborated right now :)

Anyway, this question is more suitable for the "New to JBoss" forum.

The following chapter on jdbc is appropriate for jboss 2.4. I thought maybe we needed different versions of the manual... but no one has time.
