How to disable hot deployment permanently in JBoss EAP 5?

I'm trying to disable hot deployment permanently from default profile in EAP 5 so i deleted hdscanner-jboss-beans.xml ,other then this do i need to make any other modification or configuration?

That's certainly one way. Other way is to rename hdscanner-jboss-beans.xml to hdscanner-jboss-beans.xml.bak

BAK files are ignored by JBoss.

Renaming is possible but I reccomend to use a seperate copy of the profile, it is not ensured that different versions act in the same manner.
