Can one war file in jboss refer another war file within the server?

Hello,

We have two different web applications, say myWebOne.war and myWebTwo.war. We now have a requirement to link them into the same application so that there will not be need for repeating features like authenticaion, security etc.

Is there anyway, we can provide a link in application myWebOne which would refer to myWebTwo? What is the best way for doing this?

from one web application you can call the other

StringBuilder url = new StringBuilder();

url.append("build the necessary url to go to other application");

ExternalContext extContext = context.getExternalContext();

extContext.redirect(url.toString());

You could packaged them into one foo.ear and deploy them. So much simpler.

BTW for Authentication and Security, are you using Appache Shiro? Highly recommended.
