Servlet response as datasource

Hi,

Is there a way to configure a datasource as a http response that returns json data?

Sure, build a model that returns the XML as the result document then convert that into JSON using any library, or read your resultset in servlet and build the JSON document yourself.

An enhancement is warrented to aid in the construction of json results similar to our SQL/XML handling, but the typical approach in the JBoss world would be to use RESTEasy http://www.jboss.org/resteasy/ to consume your Teiid results and provide a json endpoint.
