forte's transparent persistence

Has anyone managed to incorporate forte's transparent persistence into JBoss. I'd appreciate any guidance you can give me.

I also have an interest in transparent persistence. It appears that Sun has removed transparent persistence from Forte starting in version 4.0EA. I wish I knew why!
