JBoss-7.1.1-Acess index.html from ROOT using localhost/hostname/IP address

Hi,

I want to access index.html/any file from ROOT using  localhost/hostname/IP address [All 3 possible ways]. I tried changing some configuration in standalone.xml. But when I can access using host name/ip address, localhost is not  coming up and vice versa.

Could anyone suggest the right configuration in standalone.xml so that all three options hold good; e.g: http://localhost:8080/index.html, http://myhost:8080/index.html, http://x.x.x.x:8080/index.html results in browser.

This was working well with AS 5.

try binding to

also you can run this command when you start the as7 server:

standalone.bat -b 0.0.0.0

When I configure the following, http://localhost:8080/index.html does not work but, both http://x.x.x.x:8080/index.html and http://prakash-win7:8080/index.html works fine.

Any other configuration required to get all the three URLs up?

should work too

I am running AS 7 as windows service...How can I achieve standalone -b 0.0.0.0 here?

I added  -b 0.0.0.0 ^ in standalone.bat but URL with localhost is not coming up...Any idea?

Is there something changed in standalone.xml ? the standalone.xml does not need to change!

Show the sun.java.command line from boot.log (make sure the change got in)
