Memory leak in 5.1.0GA

Hi,

I want to install IBM Filenet P8 in a Jboss 5.1AS, but i saw this tech note in IBM web page:

In the note said that exist a patch for the enterprise version, but i don't know if also exist for the community version.

Anyone know if there is a patch for this issue?

Note: I can not use another version of JBoss by IBM support requirements

As the article is related to EAP5.0 and AS5.0, are you sure that you see that issue in your environment?

If you use the latest 5.1 community version the bug might be fixed.

Hi Wolf-DIeter,

in the article said that:

"Due to a known defect in JBOSS, Content Engine encounters Out Of Memory exception with JBOSS 5.x EAP and AS versions during longevity testing."

I supose that the issue afect to 5.1. The fix only apply to 5.0.x EAP, but i don´t know if the community version include another solution.

Unfortunately I can not see the description of the issue JBPAPP-3812 and do not know what exactly causes the error.

I found some issues that cause memory leaks:

but not if they are related with JBPAPP-3812

I suppose the issue is fixed in 5.1. The fix in EAP is only related to 5.0.

As you said yo can not use a different version you should give 5.1 a try.
