1. Re: fk constraint "not added as requested"
pazu Mar 27, 2002 11:11 AM (in response to dward2)It means that you did not request to add a fk constraint. This is just informative, it has no impact in the application.
If you do want a fk constraint to be added, use <fk-constraint>true</fk-constraint> in your relationship description. (If you're using xDoclet, that's @jboss:relation fk-constraint=true) -
2. Re: fk constraint "not added as requested"
dward2 Mar 27, 2002 5:28 PM (in response to dward2)It doesn't look like I can use fk-constraints with Hypersonic... I get an "IllegalStateException: Foreign key constraint is not allowed for this type of datastore".
I wish I could use the same jbosscmp-jdbc.xml file no matter which database I deploy with (so I don't have to re-package).
Any ideas anyone? -
3. Re: fk constraint "not added as requested"
pazu Mar 28, 2002 7:35 AM (in response to dward2)Just don't ask to create fk-constraints. In a production scenario you shouldn't let JBoss create tables anyway.

5. Re: fk constraint "not added as requested"...you gotta love
dnoyeb Dec 16, 2002 12:00 PM (in response to dward2)This is bad English. It does not specify what I requested.
Did I request that the foreign key NOT be added?
Did I request that the foreign key be added, but my request is being ignored?
Its hard to tell if the software is not doing as its told, or is indeed doing as its told.
"not added as per instructions."
would be more clear. (I don't know if its good english, but it works)
