nickarls Nov 30, 2012 2:10 AM (in response to xin.zhang.song)Without checking, I would guess when you do a new InitialContext() without properties, the org.jboss.as.naming.InitialContextFactory is used and you are restricted to non-remote lookups and when you pass in properties with Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY set to org.jboss.naming.remote.client.InitialContextFactory, you can do remote lookups.
