How to configure my Web-app specific logging in JBoss's buil

Hi experts,
I want to configure my Web-app specific logging in JBoss's jboss-log4j.xml, but seems non-effective.
My question is, is it only possible to configure the Web-app specific logging in each Web-app's own directory's log4j.xml (or log4j.properties) file?

What does web-app specific logging mean? Can you post more details? And which exact version of JBoss do you use?

It's possible. See this http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=4125416#4125416. The example there is for an EAR, but works similarly for WAR.
