Server Instances creation

Hi guys

I am newbe in Jboss AS7.. I previously  I worked as weblogic Adminstration

and I know the some of concepts in jboss level...

but I need u r help....u r information is more valuble to me.......

pls guide

my requirement is

I have 2 machines . in Each machine 3 servers... means 6 servers in two boxes

How to create multiple server Instances in single box  AS 7 only .... pls give step by step

You can use separate installation binaries for the servers and start them with a different port offset (-Djboss.socket.binding.port-offset=200)

On a 7.2.0.A it looks like I could also copy the standalone dir to server1 and server 2 and start them with

standalone -Djboss.server.base.dir=<AS_HOME>\server1

standalone -Djboss.socket.binding.port-offset=100 -Djboss.server.base.dir=<AS_HOME>\server2

don't know how supported this way is and if it's applicable to e.g. 7.1.1
