Is_autoincrement is not set for Sqlserver - Dynamic VDB

Hi Everyone!

I have created a dynamic VDB for sqlserver and got it deployed.

But when i get the metadata using jdbc (call is_autoincrement i.e rsColAll.getString("IS_AUTOINCREMENT") on resultSet), i got false for all identity columns.

Note: This thing is working for mysql. And for static VDB, it's working for both mysql and sqlserver.

Teiid 8.1.0 and Teiid 8.2.0

Jboss 7.1.1.Final

Please help me in this regard.

The Teiid server is only looking at the is_autoincrement (column 23) flag on the getColumns JDBC metadata resultset.  Perhaps a later SQL Server driver provides that metadata.  If not then an issue would be needed against Teiid to update the JDBC import for SQL Server to set the Teiid auto increment flag based upon the type as well.

This does appear to still be an issue with the ms driver (I didn't test with JTDS).  Logged and worked under https://issues.jboss.org/browse/TEIID-2343
