Question about execute command in linux

Hi All

There are some strange question when I execute ":reload" command in linux.

and there are some error message in the console, here is the error message :

[root@ls-249 bin]# ./jboss-cli.sh --connect :reload
Communication error: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: Operation failed

After execute this command, my server was reload.

Is there somebody met the same question?

BTW my JBoss version is JBoss 7.1.1 final

I would find it strange if it would be platform-related. Can you execute other commands from the command line directly? Can you run the reload manually after a connect?

Here are my another way to execute command, it will happen the same question

[root@ls-249 bin]# ./jboss-cli.sh --connect
[standalone@localhost:9999 /] :reload 
Communication error: java.util.concurrent.ExecutionException: Operation failed
[disconnect]

Within the last week, 58 issues have been resolved, during that time, 43 new ones were created, making a delta of 15 issues per week

In Alpha1 + CR1 there are currently 204 open issues. If 50 issues are slipped, that leaves making it around 10 weeks.

Unfortunately, since all estimates are, well, estimates, your are still stuck with "when it's done".

I just looked at the comments and the PR still had some issues so I don't recommend using it until they have been resolved.

You usually merge the pull request and the rebuild. You might want to google for "git merge pull request" etc for tutorials.

Can the org.jboss.as.cli module changed to the org.jboss.as.cli.module inside jboss 7.2 alpha ?

In my opinion, any module can be change to the later version. Is it correct?

There is no guarantee you can swap out modules. In some cases it is of course possible when the API is unchanged and cross-module interaction is limited. Besides, that issue is still open so there is nothing to replace with yet.
