Assuming that you are using RHEL and EAP 6, have a look here: https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform/6/html-single/Administration_and_Configuration_Guide/index.html#sect-Run_JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform_6_as_a_Service.
You need to do some modifications to the jboss-as-standalone.sh (these are documented at the link above).
Of course you need to do this for the domain-controller and the managed instances (if you really want to go for domain-mode),
