    Can Remote JNDI be used for AS to AS remote EJB call?

      JBoss 7 supports two styles of  remote EJB call from standalone client to AS: "EJB Client API" and "Remote JNDI". The former seems to provide better performance and the latter more flexibility. The documentation for AS to AS remote EJB communication only talks about EJB Client API type of configuration, requiring every remote AS host be explicitly written down in client AS configuration. Is there a way to utilize Remote JNDI type of EJB calls from AS to another AS?
