JBREM000205: Failed to accept a connection: java.io.IOException: Too many open files

Can anybody suggest me the way to resove this issue.

I am running jboss7.1.1 in redhat linux. After i have started jboss in standalone mode sucessfully , i am observing that no of open files increasing automatically.

After  some time i am getting the mentioned exception.

I have attached my standalone-full.xml file.

increse ulimit on your server.

Linux kernel by default limits to 1024 open file handles, open sockets / connections are also threaded as open file handle.

you can check how many are open and from where by typing

lsof

for how to change it see: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Too_many_open_files

default limit is really low, and for any server does anything remotly intestesting it should be incresed.
