What's the reason for that no being an option? Since that is how web application are supposed to be deployed.
Edit: I meant putting the jsps within the war.

pflapf Mar 7, 2013 6:31 AM (in response to jaikiran)The JSPs are auto-generated by a CMS and we're not able to convince the operations team that whenever new content is released a multi-megabyte WAR needs to be deployed, even if it could be done automatically.

You can deploy it as unmanaged module but it won't be a WAR and you can't refer to it from a (managed) WAR.
