2. Re: Arquillian in WebSphere
eggshell Apr 1, 2013 1:42 PM (in response to gpoul)Thank you, Gerhard. Acturally I noticed this document before, however, I'm totally new to Arquillian and no idea with this document. I'm planning to read the 'Getting Started' document, however, you know, it is based on Maven+JBoss. If anyone has experience in using Arquillian in RAD8+WAS8+Ant, I would appreciate it if he/she can share how to use Arquillian from scratch in WebSphere, e.g. to install Arquillian and Websphere extension, create test project in RAD8 without Maven, write a test case to test existing J2EE project that is running in WAS8, etc. It can save a lot of time, otherwise, I have to read Maven+JBoss document and then figure out how to get it running in WebSphere.

gpoul Apr 1, 2013 2:11 PM (in response to eggshell)A documentation on Ant+Ivy(+JBoss) is available here: http://www.dimitrijwulf.de/2012/04/how-to-setup-arquillian-without-maven-to-test-ejbs-on-jboss-7-1/
I've used RAD before but I don't know how to best integrate Arquillian with RAD, but maybe someone else on this forum has done this before.
If you're just starting out, I would start with the Getting Started Guide outside of RAD first... figuring out whether there is something wrong with the setup within RAD/Eclipse or whether you didn't follow the guide correctly might turn out frustrating when you don't know what to look for.

gpoul Apr 2, 2013 1:13 PM (in response to eggshell)At this point in time you unfortunately still need to build it yourself: https://community.jboss.org/wiki/BuildingArquillianWASContainer
