Agent constantly looping "Executing runtime discovery scan rooted at [platform]..."

I'm getting a constant loop on a number of agent machines..

Many gigs of log files in agent.log

Any ideas?

CentOS 5.7 servers, OpenJDK 1.6

known issue - fix has been developed in the bug/rhq-1 branch but not yet merged into master and not yet into a released RHQ release:

I'm not sure of a workaround - I think you need to unignore any and all resources you ignored in the discovery queue. You may have to uninventory the platform and re-import it back into inventory (and don't ignore resources). I'm not sure but I think something like that might work around it.

Yep. I have a few resources ignored. Will await 4.6.1 and see if "noring" (oposite of ignoring?) will help.

"noring" - ha - well, we've been using the word "unignoring" for what its worth :}
