1. Re: Is HornetQ suitable for creating an AD-HOC P2P application ?

clebert.suconic Apr 17, 2013 6:28 PM (in response to loloof64)1 of 1 people found this helpfulThe P2P implementation will probably be an automation of bridges between the peers. You could get the same results if you have a limited set of queues and if you know the peers or if you automate it through some embedded form. I actually know of some cases doing that. The user creates queues and setup the bridges between the known peers.

The fact is that I haven't got an high level when talking about Networking Systems. I'm just discovering HornetQ features and terminology : could you please give me such an example (even if it is posted on some kind of PasteBin) or a link to a small project that I could study ?

5. Re: Is HornetQ suitable for creating an AD-HOC P2P application ?
ataylor Apr 18, 2013 5:35 AM (in response to loloof64)take a look at the embedded example in the distribution, this shows how create an embedded hornetq server. Simple create on on each client and connect to it from the other client, so client A will send messages to queue on client B and consume from it local queue, client B will do the opposite.
