Regarding switchyard-as7-0.8 (camel-quartz-binding)

Hello All,

I am working with switchyard-as7-0.8 (camel-quartz-binding).

I am facing problem when i edit the quartz cron expression.

The problem is when i change the cron expression, the project build results in failure.It only accepts the default cron expression.

Is there any configuration seeting need to be done in order to change the cron expression?

Hope someone can help me out here.

Hi Muhammad,

In the SwitchYard editor, if you go to properties of that reference binding you can see the text box for editing the cron parameter. I have changed it successfully to

0 0/5 12-18  ? * MON-FRI

and saved it. Here is a screenshot of the same.

Thanks a lot for your reply.

I tried the steps as you mentioned.

But when I start the server,the cron still fires based on default value and not the edited one.(Default value is firing for each seconds).

Do you face the same problem when you start the server?

Muhammad,

After you change that value, the CamelQuartzBindingTest will fail and hence the new updated jar is not deployed to the server yet. Modify the test like this and it should be fine

        final LinkedBlockingQueue<Exchange> recievedMessages = greetingService.getMessages();
        assertThat(recievedMessages, is(notNullValue()));
        //assertThat(recievedMessages.size(), is(greaterThanOrEqualTo(1)));

Hello Magesh,

I want to ask one doubt rgarding this switchyard-as7-0.8 (camel-quartz-binding) project.

I need to integrate this project inside GateIn-3.5.0.Final-jbossas7 + Seam 2.3 Project.

I already change  JBOSS HOME to gatein and run the project but the output is not coming.

Is there any configuratin need to be done for the integration?

And is there any  switchyard portal bridge dependency need to be added in pom.xml?
