how to understand the  source code of hornetq，how to read ，from where ， what is first and after... ？

I believe different people have different ways. If you are new to hornetq, I'd suggest you start with user's manual first and play with the examples a bit before you go into the source code. Ask questions here if you have any.

thank you, but I have  runned the examples , just do not konw  how to read the source code and understand it, I do not know what is the first to read,so many files and pakages......

Mybe , I　ｈａｖｅ 　ｌｏｓｔ　ｉｎ　the  sea of  the source code, cannot find the way. sorry my english is not good,  wish you can  understand me.

maybe you can pick up a specific topic to begin with. For example if you want to understand how divert works, read the doc, and read that specific part of code, ask questions about it. When you have understand it, move on to next topic of interest. That way you won't get overwelmed.
