    rich:fileUpload doesn't display errors

      Hello,

I just want to ask when does the fileUpload component consider that a server error has occured? I replaced the richfaces 3 transferErrorLabel to serverErrorLabel but even though there are exceptions happening, it displays the file as successfully uploaded.

The file IS actually uploaded but if there are problems with it (in one of my cases a password-protected excel) and exceptions are thrown it should be an unsuccessful upload, right? At least it was in Richfaces 3.

If something has changed, then can I trigger an error to be displayed in some way?

Btw, I can't post any code here. That's why I'm asking about the behavior of file uploads in general.

          Are the exceptions thrown FacesExceptions?

You are going to have a tough time interacting with an OSS community without providing any code samples.  You may want to consider a formal means of support with Red Hat's WFK.
