Using cli to add new user

Is there a way to have the cli interface create a new user and assign them a role.

The add-user.sh/add-user.bat in the JBOSS_HOME/bin are command line utilities which you can use to do that.

Can you reply with the syntax to run the command. I have tried "add-user.bat user=test password=pass" but it didn't work.

Running

add-user.bat --help

will show you the available options.

Or you can just run:

add-user.bat

without any parameters and then follow the interactive options.
